Doggone good for your health!

For those that know me personally, you know I love dogs and think that everyone should adopt one from a local shelter. Well, here are a few more “healthy” reasons why having a dog can be beneficial!

Research shows dog owners are less depressed than people who don’t own dogs. Another study shows petting a pooch for 15 minutes a day decreases stress. And just to throw you another “bone,” in a study of 369 heart attack patients, those with dogs had a higher survival rate after one year than those without dogs. In short, dogs make you healthier.

By the way, the two dogs pictured above are my babies!
